we live, as we dream-alone anyone can explain this sentence for me? many thanks.............
The sentence is "We live as we dream - alone."
First, it's important to use the proper conventions of punctuation.
Begin a sentence with capital letter and end it with a period (or question mark). This is so simple, but it's very important.
Note also that if you use a hyphen for a dash, it's best to leave a space on either side - otherwise it looks like a hyphen. Unfortunately, a normal keyboard doesn't have a dash, and I can't get one to "take" on this page.
The sentence means "We live the same way as we dream - alone"
"We dream alone, and we live in the same way - alone."
It's ok Ivan.
