    use and usage

    Hi,

Is the following text grammatically correct? I am concerned about the use of ‘use’ and ‘usage’ there.

Most likely we will use the data for our internal analysis only. However, we would like to know incremental costs associated with the external use option. Therefore, please quote us the price for both internal and external usage of the data.

    Thanks,

    MG.

Most likely we will use the data for our internal analysis only. However, we would also like to know incremental costs associated with the external use option. Please provide a price quote for both the internal and external usage of the data.

There's nothing wrong with your sentence, apart from the "the".
I doubt very much whether the recipient of the letter will care whether you use "usage" or "use".
