    grammar question

    Hi,

I am going to courier name card to a colleague in Malaysia. I am going to write a email to inform him and request him to email me after he has received the name card. Not sure whether i have any grammar errors. Kindly check for me.

"I have courier 3 sets of your name card to your home address. Kindly confirm receipt. Thank you"

"I have couriered 3 sets of your name card to your home address. Kindly confirm upon receipt. Thank you."

Bear in mind that the word "courier" refers to a specific person who you have hired to personally deliver the item. You wouldn't use the word "couriered" if you have just sent the item through the post. In that case it would read:

"I have sent 3 sets of your name card to your home address. Kindly confirm upon receipt. Thank you."

    Re: grammar question

Why 3 sets of name cards? How many are there in a set? What is the exact quantity?
You can also say, 'send to you by courier service'. But it is common enough over here to say, 'to courier things to somebody'.
