    please help for two sentences

    There were some parts cannot match with our records during the inspection yesterday. Would you please review and confirm to Helen.

    I think the first sentence should be read :

    There were some parts are not be matched with our records during the inspection yesterday. Would you please review those and inform Helen?

    Please correct me if I'm wrong

    During the inspection yesterday, some parts could not be matched with our records / were found that do not match our records.

    "are not be matched" makes no sense.

    Hi Zoe2008,

    You have to use an adjective clause there, Zoe2008.

    In addition, I agree with Anglika, "could not be matched" seems more acceptable.
