    What is the adj?

    1)What is the adj that best describes sb who live in another country but forgot their originality (either they are naturally or willing to)
    During the war the basic food stuffs were in short supply, leaving residents to make do with what they could find
    How can stuff come with an s here?

    1. expatriot, traitor - possibly, but I can't think of an adjective to describe such person.

    2. Food stuff, or foodsutff - the raw material of food before or after processing. It's an exception, as stuff is not a count noun. So, food stuffs, to differentiante certain commodities.
