    prefer

When you ask people to choose one of two , can I ask as follows?

Do you prefer being logical or emphasizing feeling?

Do you prefer being active or being passive??

or do you have any other suggesion??

    Re: prefer

The sentences are fine grammatically, though I would not usually think of asking someone if they prefer being logical or being emotional

I would normally expect prefer to be in relation to selecting something like "Do you prefer to go by car or by train?"; "Do you prefer apples or oranges?"; "Do you prefer wearing wool or silk?"

    Re: prefer

Do you prefer being logical or emphasizing feeling?
Do you prefer to emphasize on logic or to emphasize on feelings?
Do you prefer being logical or being emotional?

I think there should be a common denominator for comparison purposes (prefer this or that).

Do you prefer being active or being passive??
