Question end of the month, turn of months

There was a meeting held on, let's say May 31 and June 1. I would like to start an article by stating the time. But it looks like that if it is two consecutive days in a month, it is much easier. With these two dates in two months, I begin the article with a long expression. Perhaps it is OK. So, the question is, may I say "at the end of May"? It looks to me not so accurate. Or, shall I say "at the turn of May and June"? Perhaps I make it too complicated. Just want to find a smart way to give people the impression "neat". Thanks!

Re: end of the month, turn of months

It you want to be precise and concise, just state the date, May 31st or June lst.
End of May could mean anything from the 26th - 31st of May.
Or you can say, the last day of May or lst day of June.

At the meeting held May 31st - June 1st, doubts concerning the long-term viability of current marketing strategies were raised.
