How are you?
I missed you all and I certainly missed the website.
Yesterday , I was working on some TOEFL tests and I found difficulty in doing two of them. will tou help me please?
1. Identify the number of noun clauses.
Satelite photographs can provide information on where and how much rain is falling.
About this question, I think there are two noun clauses. (when...) and (where...). but the answersheet says there is only one noun clause (where...). which answer is correct?
'When' doesn't appear in that sentence.
2. which part in the following sentence is incorrect and what is the correct form?
(Compared with) the number of paid holidays enjoyed (by most) employees in the company, three weeks of vacation (seems) (generous).
I don't really see what is wrong here either. Perhaps they want a 's' on 'seem'? That is all I can think of.
I could find NOTHING wrong in this sentence.
I'd appreciate it if you could help me.
Thanks a million,
