    Are these sentences okay to say?

    1. The opening ceremony was wonderful and impresive.

    2. I was impressed by the opening ceremony.

    3. the opening ceremony and fireworks was fantastic and spectacular.

    2. I was impressed by the opening ceremony.

    3. The opening ceremony and the fireworks were fantastic and spectacular.
    I'd use different adjectives with the last sentence since both fantastic and spectacular mean almost the same thing,at least to my mind.
