Post Help to correct my Grammer

    Hi,

I want to confirm from my friend , whether he has received my mail or not.
    What should I ask?

Did you recived my mail or Did you receive my mail ?

Further I want to reply to someone stating that I haven't received any mail, what can I use?

I didn't received your mail yet or I didn't receive your mail yet.

    Can I use :
I didn't got your mail or I didn't get your mail

    Thanks
    Vish

Re: Help to correct my Grammer

'receive' is a semi-formal/formal word, and you are talking to a friend, so 'get' is appropriate.

    "Did you get my letter?"

    "I didn't get your letter."

"Your letter hasn't arrived as yet."
    or
    "I haven't received your letter."

Note: 'mail' is the general word for what arrives in the post.
We might ask of someone in the house, "Has the mail come?"
You might see this also in the form, "Has the mail been?" or "Has the post been?" Here, these are a short way of asking, "Has the mailman been?" and "Has the postman been?"
But when talking about a specific item of mail, we would tend to refer to it more speficifcally, as 'letter', or 'packet', or 'parcel'.
