    A flat which I live in is above the shop?

    Hi sweet belly dancer, both are correct, depends on the context.

    a) You live in one flat above the shop.
    b) One of the flats you live in (you may have several homes) is above the shop.

    OR
    "I study journalism at university". [general statement]
