    "Are these they?"

    Is is correct to use the answer, "Are these they?", upong finding an item someone is searching for? I had been taught to use that but wasn't sure if it was correct. Thank you!

    Yes, There is nothing wrong. However it can be said slightely in a dfferent way: Are these ones yours/you are looking for?

    No. You would say "Are these them?". (Yes, I know the grammar books might disagree).
