    Help with sentence structure

Hi I have a question about a letter I received from my former employer.
    It states:

"If you sign this document on or before XX XX, 2008, you will receive a payment of $XXX which represents two weeks severance and one week's pay per year of service, net of applicable taxes and deductions."

Does this mean $XXX is net of tax, or I will receive $XXX net of tax?
    Thanks,
    Chris

    Re: Help with sentence structure

Is that not the same thing? You will receive the payment of these moneys which will be net of tax.
