    hand up, worth a wad

    Hello,

In the sentences below, what do the words in bold mean?

Guy #1: You called the meet, Thorpe.
Thorpe: I handed up Hoagland. That's got to be woth a wad.
Guy #:I'll talk to the man.
Thorpe: You tell him I'm doing him solid, Junior. You tell him I can be his best friend on this.

    Thanks in advance

    Good street slang, here.

I handed up Hoagland = persumably Hoagland was got into a situation where he was either assaulted or killed.

worth a wad = worth a good deal of money [wad = "wad of money" = a roll or pile of money]

I'm doing him solid = Doing him a favour

    Hello Anglika,

I like to read comic books. I have been reading them since 2004, but this one is quite hard.

    Thanks!

I know Urban dictionary and OneLook Dictionary Search.

    Sometimes Urban dictionary isn't reliable.

    I liked this forum.

As you can see I am not good when writting in English, so you can make the necessary corrections.

    Best regards!
