    non-copular verbs

    Hello,
I know what copula verbs are (linking verbs)
but I am not sure about what non-copula verbs are
Could anyone define non-copula verbs with examples?

Most verbs are 'action verbs'; they express a deliberate physical action.

    Tom ran up the hill.
He ate his dinner and then washed the dishes.
I will swim for an hour.
Carry that chair to the basement, please.
