    one article for two noun phrases

    Does ‘the’ before ‘continued’ in the following sentence apply to ‘better-than…..NOI margin’ too? Or 'the' only applies to 'continued....increases'?

    In addition, the continued sales increases and better-than-expected gross margin bode well for BV.

    Yes, it does. If you swap the clauses around you will see that the is needed.
