    In the sentence below, what does "mean streak" mean?

    If the Prime Minister wants to win, he may need a new mean streak .

    Anyone with a mean streak will do anything to get their way.
    It's a bit like winning ugly - you'll do whatever it takes to get what you want.
    Also good guys come second.
    If you really want to succeed, you have to have a bit of nastiness in your character.
