    pointless/laughable questions

    Dear teachers,

As you probably know by now, I have been asking a lot of question about comic books. I am not a student of English (I'm studying for phD degree in Math), so if my questions are pointless or laughable, please don't waste your time by answering them.

    Thanks!

Surely, if you've gone to the trouble of asking the question, it can't be pointless or laughable to you. Keep on asking. I, for one, enjoy answering any questions if I feel I can help.
