    blocked points

    Dear Teacher
Would you tell me what "blocked points" means in the following sentence?

THE THREE WAREHOUSES--like three blocked points of a triangle--looked as desolate as the buildings in a war-deserted city.

I understand that three warehouses are arranged in the form of a triangle, but I am not sure what "blocked" means.

    Re: blocked points

The warehouses are the shape of blocks (square cubes, 3 dimensional squares etc) and yet their position forms the larger shape of a triangle. The descriptive phrase forces you to look not only at the objects but their relationship to each other.
    Hope this helps,
