    Question preposition + ing

    How can i know when use preposition + ing
    to see something
    to seeing something

    To is not a preposition in to see.

    To see is a full infinitive and to is the infinitive particle.

    To seeing is not possible.

    To me, it all depends on what precedes to in a sentence, and what part of a phrase it belongs to:

    I want to see you. not to seeing you
    but
    I look forward to seeing you. not to see you

    Of course! Continuous infinitives are entirely possible.
