    When are the proper ways of using FOODS in sentences?

    You can only use "foods" if you talk about foodstuffs.

    Usually food is uncountable, sometimes though foods is used as in "Some foods don't agree with me, they upset my stomach." although more correctly it should be "...some foodstuffs..."
