    Smile like Grandma's underpants

    Scenario:

(Homer's wife Marge took their daughter Lisa to beauty parlor)

Homer: Boy, when Lisa comes in, I want you to make a big fuss over how she looks.

Bart: She'll see through me like Grandma's underpants.

Homer: No, she won't. When it comes to compliments...women are ravenous, bloodsucking monsters...always wanting more, more, more!

    Question:

Is it an idiom or slang for "See through me like Grandma's underpant"?

    Thanks!

    Re: like Grandma's underpants

Just an expression. Grandma's underwear is probably old and flimsy, or see-through.
