    email signatures

I am not presently a teacher - I left the hallowed halls years ago. My question dilemma is this: My wife and I own a business and often I sign an email from the two of us- we're a team. Should I sign it as Bob (and Karen) with Karen in parenthesis, since I am the author of the email, or should I sign it Bob and Karen without the parenthesis.

    Re: email signatures

If you are signing on behalf of both as partners in a business, then both names have equal status.

I would only put Karen into brackets if it was a personal e-mail and then only if you wish to indicate that she was not directly involved in the writing of the text.
