    Help with grammar!

    Please check my grammar mistakes in this paragraph
    Then, it was moved to an expected conversation with high tendency to discuss culture and (re)construction of people’s identity in different contextualization. Identification with the mainstream of a society where magic, symbolism, nature and religion had mixed up, people could find balanced results and strong basis only in religion.

    What is 'it' in the first sentence? If it refers to the conversation, then I wouldn't use the passive- Then the conversation turned predictably towards culture...
