    can someone tell me plz!

    how can I use "was to" in If sentence?

    If I "were to" accept the offer, I would leave my curent job.
    If I "was to" accept the offer, I would leave my current job.

    what is the difference in meanings in the above two sentences?

    1. is correct. It uses the subjunctive mood.
    2. is wrong.
