    have /get

I would like to know if there is any difference between "1" and "2".
If no, which is more natural?

    1. We got the children to clear the playground.
    2. we got the children clearing the playground.

I think the ist one is correct as the verb "get" usually acepts an inifinitive (to clear) but not a gerund (clearing).
The 2nd sentence can be modified as: We got the children for clearing the playground.
