    Red face 'mean' and 'supposed to mean'


    Is there any difference between "What's * supposed to mean?" and "What does * mean?"

    Sometimes English meanings can be sarcastic. If I say
    "What is that supposed to mean" it means "What is the hidden meaning in what you said", but if I say " What does that mean", I am only looking for
