    Introduction to article

Hi everyone, I'm new to the forum and I'm writing from Italy. My question is about an introductory statement I have to write. The idea is that the article is the collection of information obtained from various sources (it is not a bibliography). So, could it be something like:'The following article is the patient summing-up of all the information derived from many enthusiastsí personal experience...' I'm not sure about summing-up... Would gathering or collection be better?

    Re: Introduction to article

I am not quite sure what you are trying to say, but how about:

This article contains the summation of the information gathered from many enthusiasts' personal experiences.
