    Is it correct to say 'I like R.Chandler and read him a lot'?
    Is 'him' OK in this sentence?

    'I like R.Chandler and read (books written by) him a lot'?


    How about:

    'I like R.Chandler and often read his works'

    Thanks, but I was interested in that particular phrase "read him a lot", whether it is grammatical or not.
