    Smile difficult contract

I am reading the following confidential agreement.
    ttp://www.forbesjobs.com/terms_of_use.htm

    9. Miscellaneous.
    (h) This Agreement constitutes the complete understanding between the parties of each party's obligations to the others relating to Confidential Information.

Why is the word "the others" used? What does "the others" mean?
I think this should be "the other", because when "each party" is Recipient, "the other" is Discloser--singular.

Thank you for your kind answer.

"the others" = "the other parties" - it is not stated how many are involved in this agreement, but it would appear that there are more than two.
