Post It is sod's law - it happened at the worst possible time

From Inquiry launched into Stock Exchange computer meltdown as furious traders resume work | Mail Online

In the text below, what does "sod's law" mean?

Elsewhere, David Jones, of traders IG Index, said: 'With the Americans doing their mortgage bail-out it was looking to be a bumper ride for the FTSE 100. You could have seen some enormous trading volumes in London.
'It is sod's law - it happened at the worst possible time. This won't help the LSE's reputation or its business.
'And it doesn't do London's reputation as a financial centre any favours either.'
