    Question difference

    Hi everybody,

    What is the difference between:

    1. had better/would rather
    2. later/later on

    1. If you say "I had better" do something, it means that you should do it.
    If you say "I would rather" do something, it means that you would prefer to do it. Obviously, you don't always prefer to do what you should do.

    2. These mean the same thing.
