    corrections in a sentence

    Hi,

The following first sentence is by a native English speaker. I feel it can be improved with a few changes. The second sentence is my version, with the changes highlighted in red. Could you please comment on my changes and also explain a bit?

    1. The below graph plots the sum of the 3 largest ETF holdings (not truly physical demand, but plays its role in directional move for gold price and is often a good signal for top or bottom in gold price).

    2. The below graph plots the sum of the 3 largest ETF holdings (not truly the physical demand, but plays its role in directional moves for the gold price and is often a good signal for a top or bottom in the gold price).

    Thanks,

    MG.

    susiedqq,

    Thanks.

Can you please suggest any other construction for the part 'good signal for top or bottom gold prices' that either uses 'in the gold price' or 'in gold prices'. I want know whether I can use any articles for the nouns top and bottom.
