    Expression?

What does the expression 'Everything is a noun' mean?

    Re: Expression?

    Every thing is a noun.

A noun is a person, place or thing.

    Re: Expression?

    I really don't get it. I think it's figurative. I don't know.
I just told our manager that I saved the file in the local drives and she said "Miss you allness!! Mwahness!! (everything is a noun, haha!)"
I think she was referring to allness and mwahness.
In the Philippines, I noticed that gay lingo or (gay) slang adds -ness to every word.
"Fuckness, I've been waiting for ages."
"Oh my god! Did you see that guy? cuteness!"

Do you think 'everything is a noun' means another thing besides referring to allness and mwahness? Doesn't it seem so shallow (if you get what I mean)?

When you get a chance to ask your manager what it means, I'd be interested to know.
