    Make or do (or both?)

    Hello everyone
Do you say 'make conversation practice' or 'do conversation practice' ?

    Thanks for your help.

    You can say

Engage (in) - pay attention to

Take part (in) - be involved with, participate in

(Tomorrow we are going to) engage in conversation practice.

(Today we all) took part in conversation practice.

    Here "practice" is a noun.

Conversation practice = a particular thing (an activity).

However "(to) practise" is a verb, and is used differently to the word "practice".

(I want) to practise my conversation skills.

    I am not a teacher.

Re: Make or do (or both?)

    Thank you both very much.

The term 'Conversation practice' appears in hundreds of English teaching reference books, but not once have I ever come across the verb which collocates with the noun. No kidding!
Frankly, both 'do' and 'make' sounded okay to me, especially because of the other, better-known expression 'make conversation'. But then again, I am a teacher of English, NOT a native speaker (which makes all the difference).

Again - thanks for your prompt and spot-on replies.
