    Re: saving grace

    Bless

Saving grace means, a kind of advantage or redeeming quality, especially one that compensates for one's shortcomings.

    For example:
He is a horrible person but she has one saving grace, her kindness
    to animals
    .

    Thanks!

    Re: saving grace

Your ignorance really has been my saving grace.

This person is saying, "You are so unaware or naive - and that has worked to my advantage."

    It is not a compliment.
