    if by any chance

    Hello, Teachers.

What's the meaning of 'if by any chance'? Is it spoken or written English? Is it commonly used?

    Thank you in advance

    Enydia :)

    Re: if by any chance

A very common colloquial expression meaning> "if there is any possibility or something happening/being done". It is more informal than formal.
