    Please tell me, is it correct usage of commas in these sentences?
    Which sentence sounds better? Thank you!

    1.In the fall of 2007, soil samples from a field of 45 ha were collected and a map of water content in the soil was drawed.
    2.In the fall of 2007, soil samples from a field of 45 ha were collected and a map of degree of soil wetting, where these samples were collected, was drawed.
