Exclamation Please help me with an agreement rule -urgent

Hello, I'm writing a letter of intent and I can't seem to find the correct agreement rule in the following sentence. Please tell me which variant is correct. My knowledge tells me the first one is correct but I'm just not sure because I can't find the exact rule :(

I am a proficient user of English and French language.

    or

I am a proficient user of English and French languages.

    Thanx

The first one is correct because you normally say i'm a proficent user of English language and French language but to avoid repetition we can omit the first ''language'' word. So you obtain : I am a proficient user of English and French language
