    cover from different perspectives

Hi,everyone. Would you please tell me what you think of the following sentence:
The same incident was covered from different perspectives by foreign and domestic media and therefore different judgements were made accordingly.
This is a sentence I made instantly when a student of mine asked about how to put "report something from different perspectives" in English(Of course the original question was asked in our native language).
If there is anything wrong with it, please correct it for me.
    Thanks.

    Re: cover from different perspectives

The same incident was covered by both the foreign and domestic press and, therefore, the resulting stories had different perspectives. (viewpoints, slants,)
