    in or with

Hi! I am learing prepositional phrase in and with.
I am a little confused about the use. Could you correct my answer?
He saw that man with sunglasses.
or he saw that man in sunglasses.
I saw a woman with the red earrings.
or I saw a woman in the red earrings.
    Thanks for your reply!

    • He saw that man with sunglasses: a subject in a narrative.

    • He saw that man in sunglasses: a transitional sentence for which, a paragraph ends or is a run-on sentence.

He saw that man with sunglasses on. If you want to explicitly say that one is wearing something, use the adverb on with the preposition with; the preposition with used alone can convey a few other meanings like having, possessing or carrying something.
or he saw that man in sunglasses.
I saw a woman with the red earrings on.
or I saw a woman in the red earrings.
