    leveraging the strategic benefits

It’s no secret that the U.K. is one of Europe’s most mature markets
when it comes to recruitment process outsourcing (RPO). However, companies across the region—from France to Norway to Italy to Germany—are now becoming part of this rapidly growing trend by leveraging the strategic
    benefits
that this highly specialized service offers.

Could you explain the emboldened parts to me?

    Re: leveraging the strategic benefits

    Hi user_gary

As a Brit, but not a teacher:

I assume you have no problem with "strategic benefits", on its own.

A lever is used to obtain a mechanical advantage when attempting to move an object, therefore, with that in mind:

"leveraging the strategic benefits that recruitment process outsourcing offers"

    means:

"taking full advantage of the strategic benefits that recruitment process outsourcing offers"

    Hope this helps

    Re: leveraging the strategic benefits

Thanks a lot. Now I understand "leverage".

But sorry I can't understand "strategic benefits" in this sentence. Could you explain to me that as well?
I know these(strategic, benefits) words individually but I can't understand when it's together.

    Hi user_gary

I hope the following reference will help:

WikiAnswers - What are the benefits of strategic management

Strategic management allows and organization to be more proactive than reactive in shaping its own future; it allows an organization to initiate and influence activities and thus to exert control over its own destiny. Small business owners, chief executive officers, presidents and managers of many for-profit and non-profit organizations have recognized and realized the benefits of strategic management.
Historically, the principle benefit of strategic management has been to help organizations formulate better strategies through the use of the more systematic, logical and rational approach to strategic choice.
