    Hi,
    Which is correct in the following? Whcih one is more common?
    a. I walked home rather than took a taxi.
    b. I walked home rather than taking a taxi.
    c. I walked home rather than take a taxi.
    d. Rather than take a taxi, I walked home.
    e. Rather than taking a taxi, I walked home.
    f. Rather than took a taxi, I walked home.

    #b and #c would be the most often used.
