    The use of pronouns

    Hi there!

    First, can you see the sentence below?

    "Can you tell the difference between the beef produced in the US and the one produced in Australia just by eating them?"

    I'd like to ask two questions about the sentence.

    1. Is the use of "one" as a pronoun okay?
    2. Is it okay to use "them" referring to both "the beef produced in the US" and "the beef produced in Australia"?

    This may sound easy to native speakers of English, but the more I think seriously, the more difficult it looks.

    I'd really appreciate your help.
