HiCan someone please tell me what "mid-air stamp" means?I read this term in a novel, and I can't find it in the dictionary. Can someone plz help me out. Thanks a lot
sorry...here's the detail"I lifted my foot, and as he got near I got him in the balls. It wasn't a kick, really. It was more like a mid-air stamp, because I got him with the sole of my shoe."can anyone help me? thanks
Think about it - he is kicking someone. However, he is too close for it to be a full kick. The kick is shortened by the closeness to being more like stamping on the victim.
A kick would mean that the toe of the shoe impacts on the victim; stamping on him means that the sole of the foot impacts.
