    not until and much as

What structure should I use after "not until"?
For example in Anna failde to understand how serious her illness was until she spoke to the doctor
What structure should I use after "much as"?
For example in I do like carrots, but I don't want to eat them every day
    Thanks

That is not an example of a structure with "not until"
Do you want it changed so that "not until" is part of the sentence?
"It was not until she spoke to the doctor that Anna began to understand how serious her illness was"

    Not an example.
"I do like carrots, but not so much as wanting to eat them every day".

    Thanks
