    Hello Everyone,

    What does highly specific mean in the following paragraph?


    And we look for drugs that are highly potent and highly specific and that are oral and once-a-day -- and therefore easy to use.     The drug concerned is designed to carry out a specific function and to act on on one specific aspect/condition of the disease.
