    Smile pppy =?

One thing that baffles me about America is the sheer amount of money the government spends on healthcare. It's not even socialised healthcare, and yet over $4k per person per year is spent on healthcare just by the government. This increases to nearly $7k pppy when the private expenditure is added to this. In Europe, using a socialised system, they provide everyone with decent healthcare for around $3k pppy, and Western European countries such as France tend to dominate any comparitive studies into the quality of healthcare in each country.
Hello! What does 'pppy' stand for? Thanks!

And 'per' - for anyone who doesn't know - means 'for/in each'. Hence 'percent' - in each hundred.

SMS trivium: the Italian SMS abbreviation for 'because' is "/k" - perché. There's no k in native Italian words, but the 'k' is still there on the keypad, so why not use it?
