    what sentence sounds better?

    Please tell me, what sentence is gramatically correct and sounds better? Thank you!

    2.Several important feeding groups of nematodes commonly that occur in most soils are omnivores, bacteriovores, fungivores, root-fungal feeders...

    Number 1 is possible if you swap the past for a present participle.

    I don't like either one. They should be:

    1.Several important feeding groups of nematodes commonly occurring in most soils are omnivores, bacteriovores, fungivores, root-fungal feeders...
    2.Several important feeding groups of nematodes that commonly occur in most soils are omnivores, bacteriovores, fungivores, root-fungal feeders..
