    Meaning ("annulled")

    Hi,

could you please tell me whether "based upon the decision ..." refers to "annulled" or "issued" in the following sentence:

The court has annulled the arrest warrant issued against the afore mentioned person, for the purpose of executing the custodial sentence of 3 years, based upon the decision no. 333/2008.

    Thanks a lot!

As a result of the descision they have annulled the warrant.

The warrant was issued at an earlier date: therefore the issuing was based on a seperate, earlier decision.
